We are a retail wine shop that hosts private events upon request. We also have a full bar that is open every Thursday night and every weekend as long as there isn’t a conflict with one of our private events.

We are located on the corner of Court and Main Streets in Abingdon Virginia. You can enter the wine shop by through the Summers building lobby on Main St, or by by going directly into the Cellar, the entrance being on Court St. If you go through the lobby, the elevator will take to either the Cellar or the Rooftop.

Our ticketed events are a way for us to continue to share our fabulous space with our local community. Whether it’s our unmatched wine dinners or late night fun, we want to give to our community and continue to add to what makes SWVA a great place to live.

Yes! We have a vast selection of bottled wines, as well as list of our favorites sold by the glass. The Cellar is a wonderful place to have a pre dinner drink or visit with a friend over a glass of wine and a charcuterie plate.

You get exclusive use of two beautiful spaces that are unlike anywhere else in the region. We have a customizable, chef lead menu and wine parings by by Advanced Sommelier, Charlie Berg. We handle everything for you, so that you are able to enjoy your event as much as your guests will. Let us know what you’re thinking and we will work with you to make that happen!
